Our participation at the Parma agroalimentary forum has been useful for the deepening of the EC rules nr. 178/2002 on the alimentary traceability. Besides has showed some of its most important software applications.The participant demonstrated a special interest in the solution adopted for the production process of the candies "Dietorelle" (brand of the Leaf group). This system, realized by FAST for Leaf, is a perfect example of MES. Reports coming from the production constitute the base of the traceability and are integrating part of the business quality system. The system is constituted by 4 PC stations, located in various parts of the plant, integrated in the network with a Server. From the control workstation the responsible employees can plan the production, control in real time the status of the production, therefore they can consult production reports. The production processes are controlled by Plant View, that allows from every workstation to manage the system and to acquire all the significant data from the production processes.
