Efficiency and quickness in warehouse management, space optimization and real time information on actual material availability are the milestones where Fast started from for the realization of the management system for the new Farchioni Olii plant warehouse. The project includes the management of raw material supply for bottling line, the dispatch of end-items pallets to the warehouse, the labelling for traceability and the management of shipment to distributors. The raw materials and end-items handling is carried out through LGV (Laser guided vehicle) produced by Elettric 80, market leader in logistic area. The supervision is performed by our SCADA Plant View, is integrated in HMIS system for the overall warehouse management and is connected to AS400 plant management system. The integration of different factory systems is made possible by the internet/intranet network and by wireless technologies.
