  PRODUCTS    |    Micro Web System

details

Micro Web System is a FAST-produced device which allows for system control of distributed units in a civil or industrial location.

The core of the system is the Web Server function through which Internet and Intranet connections can be set up. The device, provided with Ethernet interface and TCP/IP communication protocol, can be networked into a LAN or a WAN. Therefore, it can be accessed from any PC in the network, via browser. The system does not implement dedicated software packages (such as SCADA, communication drivers, etc.) and it does not require the installation of new networks apart from a Ethernet LAN which is usually already present in most plants.

The processor is fast and powerful and implements control functionalities (PID, On/Off settings, etc.), algorithms for computation (hysteresis, alarm thresholds, etc.), plant operation sequences, as well as data collection and processing functions (for data on production, maintenance operations, consumption of raw materials, etc.).

The programming language is JAVA, the most frequently used in Web applications.

Several types of connections are possible, thanks to: interfaces for analog Input/Output signals; the Ethernet interface; two serial ports; one field-bus port. Further, these interfaces allow for Micro Web System to be used as a Gateway between different communication systems.

Micro Web System is especially suited for the telecontrol of small plants or sections of a plant, for data collection and management, or for integrating information coming from different zones of the plant. At the same time, it provides:

APPLICATIONS
Telecontrol
Telesurveillance
Collection of data relating to production, processes, maintenance operations
